Your municipality in key-numbers!!

Other Highlights

Pordata presents new summary-tables for each of the municipalities and regions of Portugal.

A contribution to better know each of the 308 councils deriving from the facts, the summary-tables gather 80 key-indicators on various areas of society and for three moments in time: 2009, 2013 —years of municipal elections— and 2015.

There are countless questions that can be clarified from the facts presented in the summary-table of each municipality. For example:

How many inhabitants does the municipality have? Are they more or less than in 2009 and in 2013?

What is the financial balance of the City Hall and how much do the taxes represent in the municipality's revenues?

How many educational and health establishments exist in the municipality?

Is the municipality more or less aged than the country?

How has the number of unemployed enrolled in the municipality's employment centers evolved?

And the average monthly salaries of the workers?

Is the purchasing power in the municipality lower or higher than that of the whole region, and has it increased or decreased in recent years?

The summary-tables can be downloaded to PDF and Excel formats and are available here.
